With the rapid development of our country’s economy and society, the scale of the electric power industry in unceasingly expands, the proportion of load disturbance is also growing, worsening the power system power quality, and cause all kinds of accidents, in which harmonic problems particularly serious. With the establishment of the electricity market, electricity prices according to quality and quantity, to resolve the conflict between power supply, the prerequisite is to distinguish between pollution liability, but also for users to manage and provide the basis for comprehensive management. Therefore, to distinguish the harmonic responsibility for the point of common connection is particularly important.Paper first outlined the harmonic concepts, harmonic causes and hazards, then summarized the methods of background harmonic analysis and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages. Through in-depth study of these methods, assuming the harmonic emission level basically stable on the point of common connection, Proposed a multiple least squares regression of the system side impedance and the system harmonic background harmonics voltage, and then estimate the user’s background harmonic voltage estimation method. In the PSCAD/EMTDC environment to build Thevenin-Norton equivalent harmonic mixing model simulation circuit, use the premises voltage and current data at the point of common connection collected, after FFT transform get the harmonic voltage and harmonic current data, through this paper presents the multiple least squares regression method to annlysis the harmonic voltage and harmonic current data, according to the values of the harmonic voltage between system and user at the point of common connection to calculated each harmonic contribution. And through comparing the "binary linear regression method" of the system and user background harmonic voltage calculations to verify the proposed method under certain conditions are feasibility and effectiveness. While, written the corresponding program based on the LabVIEW environment, achieve the bus voltage harmonic software system at the point of common connection.
