The safety and economy of the nuclear power plants attract the most attention during their designs, constructions and operations. Several major accidents in the development of nuclear power make people realize the importance of simulators in power plants. On one hand, simulators are used for trainings of operators, which aim at improving their operating levels and the abilities to deal with emergencies; on the other hand, they are applied to science experiments, which can optimize optimum parameters to improve the overall economic level of power plants and study potential problems and accident handling.This thesis begins with the forecast of the future constructions and developments of nuclear power plants in China, development courses and applications of the Simulation Systems of Nuclear Power Plants.Then it evolves analyses and researches on the designs, functions and operations of the Fluid Network model of Nuclear Power Plant Reactor Boron and Water Makeup system(REA). Besides, it introduces the system structure, the fluid flow in networks and the structure and function of each equipment in the system. After that, it manages to gradually establish the Fluid network model of Nuclear Power Plant Reactor Boron and Water Makeup system based on thermodynamics knowledge and relevant Simulation Modeling knowledge. According to mechanism modeling method, it also establishes mathematical model of each equipment(tanks, valves, linear elements and so on) in the Nuclear Power Plant Reactor Boron and Water Makeup system. Based on these mathematical models, it writes corresponding algorithmic programs using C++high level computer language, and compiles them into the model base of simulation supporting platform. Finally it establishes the Nuclear Power Plant Reactor Boron and Water Makeup system simulation model using the fluid network model and system device module on the STAR-90simulation supporting platform. Furthermore it does analyses and researches to validate veracity and reliability of the system.
