China’s energy consumption is too large has become the economic and social development in our country faces a special problem, power plant as the electric power industry is an important part, is also the high power consumption of key enterprises.And reduce the electricity rate is one of the most direct, the most effective way to save energy, therefore, dig deeply and continuously reduce the electricity measures are energy saving direction.In this paper, through the collection of Baotou second thermal power plant electric of statistical data, the statistics of different load power supply, the power consumption of various equipment and analysis of auxiliary power consumption rate and load rate relation.Based on the results of statistical analysis, research and analysis of the influence factors of electricity rate, was manufactured with electricity is mainly consumed in the continuous operation of the boiler and steam turbine often system6kV auxiliaries, wherein the fan, pump equipment electricity total consumption of more than85%, therefore, Baotou second thermal power plant fan, water pump, the main power equipment frequency conversion technical transformation scheme have been derived. In this paper some new energy saving ideas have also been produced, from the lighting system in energy saving study "catch do not put greatly small"; strengthen management; optimizing auxiliary operational mode, put forward a series of lower power consumption rate of plant energy saving scheme.
