The paper hammers at the study on simulation experiment of water treatment in power plant. At the base of confirming the parameters on control, structure and effect, the mathematical models for simulation including clarifiers, fabric filters, ultra filtration, security filters and reverse osmosis treatment system are established. Based on this theory, the simulation software of water treatment system of power plant is designed. Five simulation experiments are carried out. The changes of factors including sludge concentration, stirring speed, filtration rate, operating pressure and temperature in the simulation experiments affect the quality and yield of water treatment system of power plant. The simulation results meet requirements of field experiments. The software can not only realize the basic control function of the water treatment system in power plant, but also dynamically simulate and display the parameters. According to the different quality of water and treatment requirements in power plant, the software can optimize water treatment techniques. The simulation software can be used for teaching and training, but also be used for research. It also can be developed to apply to practice from the interface left.
