Reactive Power Compensation, Asymmetry of Load Adjusting Economic Operation of Balance, Transformer and power of the optimization play an important role in reducing power loss of distribution network. Based on the actual situation of power of Tangshan power network, the main tasks of this paper are as follows:1. It studies the technology and measures of loss reduction by reactive power compensation for110kV and lOkV power grid, and illustrates the reactive compensation theory as well as its significance in inducing power loss. It introduces how to find the best location and amount to establish the compensation devices. The sample in the end verifies the feasibility of this method.2. As for380/220V three-phase four wire distribution network, it put out the relationship between the power loss and unbalanced three-phase operation by the formulas under the same operation condition, of the three-phase line loss formula, and in different operation conditions, and discusses the unbalanced three-phase load symmetry compensation methods. At last, it simulates the method by the examples to compensation scheme.3. It studies the reasonable choice of the operation ways of transformer for loss reduction. It deliberates the economic operation theory of single transformer judgment and the economic operation mode for multi-transformer paired running. At the same time, the transformer of some substation is adjusted accordoing to the thoery, and the calculation of economic operation way is verified.4. It analyzes the influence of Power Network Planning and the optimization of the power locations on net loss. And it analyzes the influence of the distributed power on saving energy and loss reduction as well.
