The research and development of the automobile headlights and aerodynamics was introduced based on the automobile aerodynamics theory. It also shows that the simulation study analysis is an important method in the automobile aerodynamics research.The paper use the Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD) to build the three-dimensional model of one car, then mesh it and use the Fluent to simulate its flow field, calculate the drag coefficient. We research the influence on the result of the external flow field by changing the shape of the automobile headlights model. The main works of this paper are:1、Simplify the automobile headlights model and parameterize it according to its structure based on its theory and the automobile aerodynamics research.2、Choose the main trend for the headlights’ structure from taking into the variability of the headlights modeling. More research about the external flow field of the automobile model by choosing different collocation and changing the detail about the automobile headlight’s model and the pressure distribution on its surface was carried out. The result is that the different style can satisfy different request from the view by the aesthetics and aerodynamics.In conclusion, the design of automobile headlight is not only to consider the aesthetics but also to reduce the drag coefficient so that the automobile will have a good performance.
