The Study Of Landscape Design Of The Ruins Park Based On The Spirit Of Place

Ruins park plays an irreplaceable role to display and continuation of the city’s historyand culture. Although the construction of urban ruins park development, there are stillsome problems, such as the cultural connotation of mining is not enough, lack of featuresand the business climate is too strong and so on so forth.This paper aims to study the landscape design of the ruins park based on the spirit ofplace. By studying the theories on the park site to analysis landscape design (includingsites, natural landscape and man-made landscape, space).The analysis of the spirit of placeemphasis on the shaping of space and people’s feelings, pay attention to the site can beidentified, accessibility and vitality of the theory. With the typical cases, based oninterpretation of the landscape design concepts，the theory of landscape ecology, spatialorganization of human psychological experience mechanism,then from feelings of humannature, space and ecological point of view to understand the spirit of place of the ruinspark（the creation of ecological environment, the respect for the right site of the body andspace, attention to the context of mining and the focusing on park place participation andbelonging）and design techniques（the protection of the ruins body and landscape, naturalelements, the space of landscape, the expression of culture, people’s feelings andparticipation and the creation of artistic conception）.Finally taking Tang Paradise forexample，combination with surveys to analysis the spirit of place in the landscape ofdesign of Tang Paradise.Summed the spirit of place in shaping the park from theembodiment of the context, the mood creation, visitors feel and participation. Furtheranalysis the spirit of place plays an irreplaceable role in landscape. Not only stressed theimportance of the construction of the park site, but also stressed the importance ofpeople-oriented in landscape design of the ruins park. The innovation of the paper isstudying from the perspective of the spirit of place on the ruins park. In this paper, havenew understanding of the ruins from the point of view from the environment and culturalcontext, space, humanity feel，in order to enhance the individual character of ruins park.
