In the world of the rapid development of cities, cultures and economy, a boom ofthe high-rise flats has become an inevitable trend. With the growing height of flats, the partial wind environment caused by the changed inner space elements in high-riseflats and ultrahigh-rise flats has caused growing influences to the city and regionalwind environment. Those influences happened not only because of the bigger heightof the flats, but also the housing site plan, the relationship between the local winddirection and the windward side of the housing area, and the distance betweenbuildings, etc. By researching the space planning elements which are of greaterinfluence to the wind environment, this article will give a detailed discussion aboutthe relationship between the housing site plan and the wind environment in thehousing area.Based on the climate conditions of the hot-summer and cold-winter areas, andthe analysis of the weather data of the local observatory, the author calculated themeteorological parameter. First, according to the basic theory of wind, the authoranalyzes the causes of different wind environments and it’s relationship with a singlebuilding, expands it to the relationship among buildings, and summarizes theanalytical method for the wind environment and the comfortability, home and abroad, and establishes a evaluation system for the adaption of the wind environment of thehousing site plan. Second, the author calculates the space planning patterns of thesummer-hot and winter-cold areas through analyzing the housing space planningelements; and compares the adaptability of different space planning patterns byapplying Computerized Numerical Simulation method, and puts forward the partialwind environment problems in the stimulation conditions. Last, the author and putsforward an adapting strategy for different space planning elements; conveys a casestimulation in a housing area in Changsha, and based on the simulation result and theadaptability strategy, the author gives a cross verification and adjustment to the spaceplanning, and then concludes the significance and reference value of this research. The author analyzes the3patterns of spacing planning: parametric pattern, linepattern and free pattern, and12groups of model stimulation results by applyingtheoretical analysis methods such as summarize, contrast etc. and technical means likecomputerized numerical simulation, and calculates A statistically significant result of the analysis of advantages and disadvantages of the comfortability and energy savingof the housing area. Based on this result, the author put forward a spacing planningadaptability optimizing strategy of the wind environment of the housing areas in thesummer-hot and winter-cold areas. The author hopes that this article would do certaincontribution to the adaptability design of the local housing spacing planning under theinfluence of the wind environment.
