The Design Of Drop Hammer Piling Machine Automatic Control System

With the continuous development of our national economy, and the increase of infrastructure construction projects, such as highways, railways, bridges and so on, the pile foundation engineering has been widely used. Since the operating mode of the drop hammer piling machine is very simply, and it has no special requirements to the construction environment, the drop hammer piling machine is playing a significant role in all kinds of engineering fields. However, the drop hammer piling machine, which is used in the construction sites, is operated manually. And in the working process, the constructors have to manipulate the clutch and braking operating arm as frequently as possible, which leads to great labor intensity. If the automatic control technology is applied to the drop hammer piling machine, it will not only reduce the labor intensity of the constructors, but also improve the efficiency of the construction.Starting with the theory of the drop hammer piling machine construction, a kind of automatic control system has been designed. It uses32bits micro control chip S3C2440as its core processor, and uses DC motor as the actuating mechanism. All kinds of sensor is used to detect the working conditions of the drop hammer piling machine.The whole system has been designed from the aspects of mechanical modification design, hardware principle and software implementation. In addition, according to the professional knowledge of pile foundation construction engineers and the experience parameters of the manual pile driving operation, the expert control system has been applied to the automatic control system of the drop hammer piling system to control over the length of rope in this thesis. The processing method of the piling machine automatic control and the treatment method of the fault have been studied to make the automatic control system of the piling machine process safer and more efficient.Also, a drop hammer piling machine model platform has been built in laboratory to debug the control system, and the test of the system in construction field shows that the drop hammer piling machine automatic control system has meet the requirement of automatic piling control in the piling machine. In addition, this control system can analyze and deal with the fault that has appeared in the piling process. And it greatly improved the work efficiency of the piling construction.
