Compared with general asynchronous motor,oil filled type asynchronous submersiblemotors have a main difference, that is between the stator and rotor cavity filled withinsulation oil. The purpose is to ensure the motor internal and external pressure balanceand ensure the motor work in a good condition. Accurate calculation oil filled typeasynchronous the submersible motor loss have a great significance to accurately calculatethe submersible motor starting performance; accurate calculation submersible motorstart-up performance can reduce product test times and saving the cost of research it, it hasa high application value to the oil filled type asynchronous submersible motor developmentand production.The key of accurate calculate submersible motor mechanical loss is lies in how toaccurate calculate of friction commits any viscosity from the viscous friction loss. Oilfilled type asynchronous submersible motor performance calculation in previous isaccording to the method of traditional asynchronous motor to calculate, Lack ofconsideration to the rotor with lubricating oil produced the loss by the viscous friction, ordirectly without consider it or with the addition of a coefficient in the original losscalculation formula. This paper calculation submersible motor viscous friction loss forestablished the fluid-solid coupling model method to more accurate, and accuratelycalculating the submersible motor starting performance.Motor general friction loss, and then the submersible motor mechanical loss can becalculated. The results of mechanical loss be calculated is very important to thesubmersible motor electromagnetic calculation and get the exact submersible motormagnetic field. With Anosft Maxwell to calculate the two-dimensional electromagneticfield of Submersible motor and analysis it, get the submersible motor curve of iron loss, copper loss, speed and so on. Process the curve of iron loss and copper loss, get of thevalue of iron loss and copper loss in submersible motor. At the same time can get thesubmersible motor start-up performance curve, can calculate the motor pending theoperation speed, torque characteristics. Compare with the value of Simulation andmeasured value, we can see that the error in the project within the range of allowable error,confirm the method for oil filled type submersible motor mechanical loss calculationshows that the effectiveness of the engineering application, the application value.
