As a new type of method using chemical modification, TOR asphalt rubber can reduce the preparation temperature of the asphalt rubber effectively. Meanwhile it contributes that the crumb rubber and asphalt synthesis new molecules through chemical changes, and cross-link with the sulfur to generate big reticular structure of ring and chain polymerization. It just needs general mixing instead of colloid mill or high-speed shearing equipment used in site modification to form a high-performance, environmental, economic modified bitumen, reducing the high temperature viscosity of the rubber asphalt and extending the storage and transport time.At present the study to TOR asphalt rubber at home and abroad is mostly inclined to the performance and the preparation process of the materials, the performance of TOR Rubber Modified Asphalt Mixture and its construction process. While the comparison of overall performance between TOR asphalt rubber Mixture with the asphalt mixtures used commonly in the past has not been given a verdict, especially for the SBS modified asphalt mixtures most widely used in Jiangsu Province road projects. The design and choice of the structure layer of TOR Rubber Modified Asphalt Mixture pavement in practical engineering application still refer to that of ordinary asphalt mixture. So the consideration of the stress on each floor for different pavement structure combinations is also inadequate, which makes that the actual using performance of TOR Rubber Modified Asphalt pavement and designed performance produce a certain bias, hindering the further promotion of TOR asphalt rubber.This thesis focuses on the promotion the use of TOR asphalt rubber mixture on the basis of existing research results in the research at home and abroad, mainly to do the following:(1) Make asphalt mixture with SMA13and SUP13grading, which both are widely used in projects. Then the pavement performance and mechanical property of two different pavement materials, TOR asphalt rubber mixture and SBS modified asphalt mixture, are studied in laboratory conditions.(2) Laying the right road sensor and measured the stress of the TOR rubber asphalt pavement under standard vehicle loads. Compare it with stress values in the bottom layers of SBS Modified Asphalt Pavement.(3) Hstablish asphalt pavement stress model by ABAQUS and analyze the stress of pavement layers under standard loads. Finally, compare it with the actual stress values and correct finite element model.(4) Evaluate the pavement surface structure based on measured data and the results of Finite Element Analysis of Pavement Structures and compare the advantages and disadvantages of the TOR rubber asphalt pavement with SBS modified asphalt pavement.This study found that the stress values of the TOR asphalt rubber pavement layer are less than the SBS modified asphalt pavement layer, and the shear stress of TOR rubber asphalt pavement structure surface is also less than the SBS modified asphalt pavement layer. So the TOR asphalt rubber pavement structure resistant to cracking and rutting resistance performance are better than the SBS modified asphalt pavement structure. The toughness of the TOR rubber asphalt pavement is better than the SBS modified asphalt. The conclusion drawn in this paper offer a reference to design of asphalt road and the appliance and extension of TOR asphalt rubber, broaden the finite element analysis software’s appliance in road structure analysis. It is of certain importance, creativity and has certain appliance value.
