Research On Smart Home Furnishing Remote Network Monitoring System Based On GPRS

Nowadays, with people’s living standards rising,people’s requirements onthe family living environment are also rising.Smart home furnishing useresidential as a platform,with the utilizations of the advanced networkcommunication technology, cabling technology, computer technology, automaticcontrol technology, audio technology, to integrate the facilities that related to thefamily life and to construct an efficient residential system,so that people havea comfortable and warm living environment. At present, the technologies ofresearches on smart home furnishing are not mature,with the problems like thestandard is not unified, the high cost of the products, popularity is not high andso on. How to constructure a more reasonable design scheme to benefit oursociety is our new topic.According to the functional requirements,taking the network management as the technology characteristic, this design give a smart home furnishing remotenetwork monitoring system, to realize lighting control,appliance control, indoorenvironmental control (temperature control, humidity control), remote videosurveillance, GPRS network transmission and some other functions. The mainresearchers are as follows:Here design a smart home furnishing remote network monitoringsystem,which is composed of PC, ARM, MCU development board, GPRSwireless module and sensor acquisition.Embedded system is built which is basedon the Linux development platform, then complete the indoor environmentmonitoring, lighting control module, home appliances and other functionalmodules. The socket video transmission based on TCP/IP protocol, and networktransmission technology of GPRS are adopted;The GPRS network transmissiontechnology that is adopted in the smart home furnishing data transmissionrequires two mobile cards to transmit data through wireless mobile phonecard.In the process of transmission, all the data can be transferred to the ARMterminal. So we will be able to view the problem clearly during the process of the experiment,then solve the problem;In the design of the smart homefurnishing, the adding of remote video monitoring makes the managementsystem more complemented, and plays a significant role in the home security.This enables intelligent home more humane.Experiments show that, this remote monitoring system that researchedbasically meets the expected requirements of functions and operates stably.With the interface more humane,it can meet the need of general household use.
