In 2019,40.3% of households in the world have five or more smart home devices connected to the Internet.Smart home devices and humans form a body area network.The audio and video content obtained by smart home devices often involves private information which can be leaked during transmission.The identity of the communicating party and the network address will also expose private information such as the user's location.Smart home devices have limited computing power so that traditional methods of protecting transmission over the Internet cannot be applied.In light of the current situation of information leakage in the process of audio and video file transmission in smart home,this research proposes possible approaches to ensure information security that include file feature elimination,out-of-order fragmented transmission,combination of identity-based encryption and onion routing,all of which function in two aspects: to conceal the file content and to conceal the transmission paths.This thesis is composed of five chapters.In the first two chapters,the researcher analyzes relevant researches about the technologies involved in convert communication and conducts in-depth analysis in two branches: convert channels and anonymous communication.Based on a thorough review of previous studies about anonymous communication models and technologies in Internet of Things,the author points out the limitations of the existing transmission modes if they are applied in smart home environment.To deal with the security problem of present transport,the third chapter proposes a secure transmission method based on the theory of network data packet transmission,which modifies the transmission sequence of data segments and eliminates the file signature of audio and video files.The experimental data show that this method can realize the safe transmission of audio and video files in the limited environment,with high transmission capacity,low computational complexity,anti-detection and anti-attack.The transmission rate can reach 10.5MB/s to 11.3MB/s.Based on the above idea of secure transmission model,the fourth chapter puts forth an anonymous communication model to solve the problem of anonymity in the transmission of audio and video files in smart home.This model,with the support of identity-based encryption and onion routing strategy,can encrypt the file features and transmission sequences in multiple layers,forwarding data in multiple hops between the sender and the receiver.Theoretical analysis and MATLAB simulation show that the proposed method reduces the demand of computing power and performs well in anonymity.It can also resist traversal attack and collusion attack.With all these advantages,it provides a way to deploy anonymous communication system in smart homes despite of their limited computing power.The last chapter illustrates the testing model built on the basis of the proposed method and draws a conclusion by analyzing the experimental date.This model,which is built in the public network,simulates the covert transmission of audio and video files in smart homes and realizes the predicted effect of safe transmission and anonymous transmission.With the experimental data of transmission rate and resource occupation as proof,the proposed method of ensuring secure and anonymous transmission of audio and video files in smart homes is believed to be effective.
