As developing, while the cities’basic facilities turning to be complete, we are pursuing a more comfortable living environment. A city is better decorated by a cleaner street, a various city park and colorful night lighting. Tianjin is well known for the Haihe River. It’s the origin of Tianjin. Once there is a riv er the bridge must appear. The bridges on the Haihe River have long history as well. As an important city component, bridge has not only transportation uti lity but also brilliance to the city landscape and night lighting.These research studies of15bridges along11km of Haihe River since Yo ngle Bridege to Fumin Bridge. This thesis is on the basis of architecture, bridg e science, construction, aesthetics and visual psychology. Through studying and analyzing on15bridges along11km of the Haihe River, this thesis proposes the methods of bridge lighting design.Chapter Ⅰ consists two parts. The first part is a systematic analyze of brid ge definition, history and classification. The second part is to identify the stud y object-Tianjin Haihe River Project. In this part, we define the object and also give its meaning of sight and functionality.Chapter Ⅱ studies on the15bridges’lighting strategy, sum up its characte Ⅰ ristic and raises questions.Chapter Ⅲ Through analyzing some outstanding lighting strategy propose t he solutions. Chapter Ⅳ Design process study. Chapter Ⅴ is the summary and prospect.The innovation points of this research:1. An abundant example study, a summary of bridge lighting stagey, the systematic analysis.2. By project practicing, exam and summarize the lighting stagey.
