Research On Quality Control Of Fushun New North Sewage Treatment Expansion Project

With the rapid development of society and economy, city water pollution isbecoming more and more serious. In recent years, our country has increased input insewage treatment facilities, more and more sewage treatment facilities have beenbuild to improve the city water environment. But from the operated situation ofpresent, parts of sewage treatment facilities’s disposal technics are comparativelydrop behind the others, construction quality are not reach the standard, supportingequipments are not perfect, all these directly lead to sewage treatment project cann’trun steadily and the operation effect haven’t realized the expected goal, can’tcomplete theirs function and the task of pollution reduction, causing great waste ofmoney and adverse social repercussions. In the new historical period ofenvironmental issue has got the whole society’s attention, strengthen the quality and control of sewage treatment project seem more and more urgent and necessary.This paper takes Fushun New north Sewage Treatment Expansion Project as theresearch object, according to functional requirements, external conditions andeconomic requirements, fully consider the character of expansion project andefficient use the existed resources, to find the best balance point of quality and cost.In cording to Fushun New north Sewage Treatment Expansion Project’s qualitycontrol goal, utilize the theory and method of total quality control，plan thecomprehensive quality control aim, measures and results, and applied to projectmanagement. In design stage, utilize the theory of objective management and qualityassurance to control the project design compliance with the goals and requirements.In construction stage, utilize the theory of objective management, system, qualityassurance and control to achieve each section quality control aim. In equipmentinstallation stage, utilize the theory of objective management and quality assuranceto ensure the equipment installed to meet the design requirements. In equipmentcommissioning stage, utilize the theory of objective management and quality controlto ensure the equipment run well. In trial operation stage, utilize the theory of objective management and system to ensure each unit operate stable and the waterquality conform to the standard.This paper utilize the method of success degree evaluation to evaluate theproject. The post project evaluation results show that the quality control objectivesare clear in each stage，quality control measures are effective，total quality controlhas achieved good results in this project. Fushun New north Sewage TreatmentExpansion Project has high benefits of economic, social and environmental.
