Bridge is an important part of the traffic engineering, however, the bridge collapseaccident-prone in recent years allows people deep concerns about the safety of the bridge.Bridge static and dynamic overload detection is the most commonly used test the BridgeSafety an effective method, but also engineering operated by one of the means of protectionof bridge safety. However, this method is often time-consuming, high implementation costs.In view of this situation, this paper attempts to extensive research in engineering close-rangephotogrammetry method to simplify the the bridge deformation of the bridge inspectionwork measurements.In consideration of the practical needs of the actual situation in bridge inspection work,this paper does not use the common photogrammetric method based on three-dimensionalanalytical techniques which need a lot of artificial targets, instead we use photogrammetricmethod based on the motion parallax. For the purpose of this study, we did a series ofexperimental verification, and studied a number of algorithms. Experiments show that thismethod is entirely possible to achieve measurement of the deformation of the bridge, and canguarantee satisfactory measurement accuracy.The content of this study generally includes the following aspects:1, This paper studied the basic principles of the camera imaging, the basic principles ofedge detection, image matching theoretical basis, as well as Matlab digital image processingmethod and the edge of the image recognition, block matching method using Matlab. Inaddition, the theoretical basis of the motion parallax extended, so that it can be applied to theactual situation in this study.2, Through a series of laboratory tests to verify we proposed two bridge deformationmeasurement method: edge recognition based and image correlation matching based methodof bridge deformation measurement, then verified the feasibility of these methods. Foundsome practical application of engineering may encounter problems in the course of the trial,and propose a suitable solution. Tests showed that the bridge deformation measurementmethod based on image matching an artificial target, but can achieve high test accuracy.Proposed two new approachs for the actual distance and on-FIG distance conversion:recognition and distance conversion through the line of the edge of the bridge itself; through the edge of the circular targets to identify and ellipse fitting for distance conversion.3, Study In-depth on image processing algorithm, using a variety of algorithms forimage processing, comparing the pros and cons of the various algorithms. And proposed anew maximum value of the correlation coefficient search algorithm: triangle search method.4, The photogrammetric method proposed in this paper applied to actual projects,compared to the results obtained on the error of the results of the photogrammetric methodand the conventional methods of analysis, methods for reducing errors. In addition, proposeda bridge displacement measurement system based on photogrammetric method.
