PISA-S is a raster scanning portable near-infrared spectroscopy whichis developed by NIRS-Research lab of Jilin University. It contains spectral scanningsystems, signal processing, acquisition system and power supply system. PISA-S hasexperienced prototype development, prototype trial production, testing andvalidation process, the next step is to prepare to make a commercialization, and enterthe market. In order to improve production efficiency duringPISA-S-type instrument assembly production process, reduce error rates, savinghuman resources and standardize the instrument commissioning process, we designeda debugging platform for PISA-S.The debugging platform for PISA-S includes three modules, powersystem debug module, spectral system debugging module and signal processingand acquisition system debug modules, and each module of the system is independent.Every module system is controlled by51MCU, and communicate with the hostcomputer by the serial port.Power system debug module mainly tests the voltage andcurrent of each output. The module uses a51MCU to control relay analog switchesand connected with the load resister and an I/V conversion module to measure theactual current value and voltage value of each channel. The spectral system debugmodule is mainly used to test spectral system of PISA-S with a lock-in amplifier, todetermine the PISA-S’s scan range, spectral accuracy and spectral resolution. And thetest results can guide the adjustment of the pendulum rod length of raster scan. Thesignal processing and acquisition system debug module is used to test thephotoelectric signal conversion circuit and measurement and control circuit.The three debug module units share one PC software which is usedMATLAB software developed. By selecting the type of the detected object, we can control the type of detection module. At the same time, PC software with data storagecapabilities could offer us a test report and the test results can be saved as TXTformat.This paper summarizes the detection indicators and debugging method of everypart of the PISA-S by analyzing the PISA-S’s structural and functionalrequirements. It also offers us the detailed design of software and hardware systems ofthe debugging platform including the three modules. Finally, testthe functional and performance of each module and assembled a PISA-S by thedebugging platform to verify the feasibility and practicability of debugging platform.
