Industrial design has experienced a long-term historical process from generation tomaturity. During the process, it not only promotes social development effectively, but alsochanges people’s lifestyle and quality of life gradually. Nowadays, with the coming ofpractice economy time, the concept and core of product design have also been changed.They have been changed from emphasizing on product function to pursuing user’sexperience on product application. Thus, interaction design, experience design andemotional design emerge for the demand. Due to this, the science and technology are not justproducts but the perceptual service which brings the experience of sense, behavior andemotion.The development of automotive design is like that. The technology of information,intelligence and network are massively applied in automobile products. The automobileswith the only carrying function can’t satisfy people’s demand any more. The directinteraction with automobiles through vision, hearing, touching and body as well as languageetc. are demanded to improve the driving experience.The communication between taxi drivers and the information terminal is a typical casewhich focuses on people in the communication design field. The research result can not onlyimprove the working environment of taxi drivers but also enlarge and supplement users’experience.The groups of taxi drivers are selected as the object of study of interaction design in thispaper. In order to fulfill the taxi drivers’ demands on working, living and emotion, itproposes an exploratory vehicle mounted product based on user’s experience, which is aninteractive product containing information acquisition, entertainment and communication.The introduction of this product can bring a brand new working style for the taxi drivers.How to apply the investigation and study achievement of the user experience to theactual design process in the interaction design of automobile equipment is an importantaspect of the interactive product. The user’s demands on sense, behavior and emotion are analyzed through the information collection and investigation of current working status oftaxi drivers in the paper. Based on the user’s experience demands on the three aspects, theinteractive behavior between vehicle mounted equipment and taxi drivers is discussed fromthe perspective of modeling, color, interface and function etc. and the design philosophy andelements of vehicle mounted products are obtained. Finally the design of vehicle mounteddesign is implemented on the basis of design theory.The objective of study is to initially establish the interactive design method based onvehicle mounted products applied by taxi drivers. Through the detailed research on users, thedemand hierarchy of users is specified; the characteristic of product is derived and theinteractive design of vehicle mounted products is improved to the taxi drivers’ demands ondriving experience.
