Super high-rise buildings has been widespread in the modern city to ease the pressure on the limited space resources. Modern people improve aesthetic requirements of the building,so the high-rise building structures is becoming more and more complex, at the same time it causes great difficulties in the seismic design of structures and wind resistant design. For high-rise building, the development of its engineering ahead of academic research. in recent years, with the improvement of computing power and software programs’analysis capabilities, high-rise building in academic research is developing rapidly.Frame-tube structure system is commonly used in high-rise building, it can provide great stiffness of the lateral force resisting, which is conducive to resist earthquake and wind load. Some complex high-rise should be limit exceed checked, so the structure can work under various loading conditions. In the event of rare earthquake, the high-rise structure member is nonlinear. How to simulate the structural response through existing software is becoming one of the hot issues of high-rise elastic-plastic analysis.Based on the above reasons, five corresponding aspects as follows are studied:1) Designing a60-storey high-rise building structure by myself, high-rise design should be limit exceed checked;2) Selecting a reasonable seismic waves, researching the performance of elastic analysis of the structure, including mode mecomposition method and elastic dynamic time history analysis, then compare the two results..3) the elastic-plastic analysis of high-rise building is studied, combined with requirements in standard, getting the appropriate answer by the structure’s response in event of rare earthquakes.4) Selecting reasonable parameters of IDA. In order to make a comprehensive seismic performance.the incremental dynamic analysis of high-rise building is studied, and the results are plotted to curve.5) For the above research conclusions, the gaps and issues of this article are discussed.
