When a High earth-rockfill dam suffered a strong earthquake, because of the " boundary sheath effect",the top of the dam would amplify the earthquake vibration and caused the rockfill into an unstable state.So,an appropriate method should be taken at the top of the dam which bulit at the earthquake zone to release the damage from the earthquake.One focus of the study on aseismic measures of high earth-rockfill dam is to put forward reasonable seismic strengthening measures to mitigate damages based on failure characteristics and failure mechanisiam of the dam. Reinforced soil technology has a long history, the modern reinforced tecnology has been rapidly developed after Henri.Vidal proposed the modern reinforced theory.However, due to the complexity of the mechanism of the reinforced soil structure, its calculation and design method are not perfect enough and still need a systematic study.In this paper, three-dimentional Fast Lagrangian Analysis of Continua program (FLAC3D) was used to analyze and simulate the dam with concrete frame beans reinforced, thus to provide the basis for the wide use of the reinforcement technology.The specific contents are as follows:(1)Firstly build a testing filling slope model, using fish language to develop FLAC3D interface programe for building concrete frame beams and outputting the internal force of the beams. Trough a numerical analysis method, the effectiveness of the frame beam reinforced slope and the reinforcement mechanism was studied. Besides, the deformation of the slope caused by the different connection of the concrete frame beams and the reinforcement length and the reinforced layers was also discussed. The method for determining the parameters of the frame beams was stdudied through multi-program spreadsheet analysis.A preliminary study on the difference of rigid joint and hinge joint was made.(2)Secondly build a200-meters high earth-rockfill dam model with concrete frame beams reinforced. Concrete frame beams were layed to reinforce the dam at its one-fifth hight.Using three-dimentional unlinear dynamic analysis method,the dynamic characteristics and the satability of the dam and the reinforcement characteristics were studied.By analogy analysis,the reinforcement performance of the concrete frame beams in different vibration conditions was found. Meanwhile, the difference between rigid joint and hunge joint and the effect of different reinforced layers are separately compared.The difference of the reinforcement effect from two different connection types is mainly analysed,for the sake of providing theoretical support for the dam reinforced by concrete frame beams.So as to exert the advantange of the concrete frame beams such as quick construction,easy prestressed and money saving. (3)The variation of the internal force of the concrete frame beams is researched,using user-difined fish language to export the internal force of the beam,in order to provide a reference to the concrete frame beams design..
