Clock calibration instrument is the indispensable equipment in the production process of the clock, which is directly related to the accuracy of the clock and watch products yield. The grading instrument of balance wheel and hair spring is an important check and sorting equipment in the watches manufacturing industry. Its performance influences mechanical watch core components--the quality index of balance wheel and hairspring. It influences the clock timing accuracy and the quality of the products.At present, many hair spring and balance wheel grading instrument which is widely used in domestic enterprises are old devices produced in Switzerland between nineteen sixties and seventies, and some enterprises use the imitation of the hair spring and balance wheel grading instrument produced in Shanghai watch factory on the last century seventies. These devices are mostly using discrete electronic tube circuit and semiconductor element, whose circuit is very large and complex, and the function is single, low efficiency of labor production. Although it can meet the small scale production of low-end products, its performance is difficult to meet the requirements of high-grade watches products, the failure rate is relatively high, and it is difficult to repair.In the actual production, the production substandard rate of hair spring and balance wheel is relatively high, which has an influence on the production efficiency of the enterprise. Analyzing the causes, it is mostly caused by grading of hair spring and balance wheel. So studying accurate classifying, flexibility, hair spring and balance wheel grading instrument to improve production efficiency significance is very important.This thesis proposes the use of multiple microcontrollers for signal acquisition, design idea, control file. The hardware circuit of automatic grading system of hairspring balance wheel is designed. It also draws the circuit diagram, designs and produces printed circuit board system. This thesis introduces microcontroller software design of the system, the combination of software and hardware are tested at the same time, and verifies the grading method of pulse acquisition method and classification method of the hairspring balance wheel. Test results show that the pulse acquisition method and hairspring balance wheel classification method is adopted to obtain stable results. It can display in the LCD and the affiliated visual display terminal. Furthermore, the advanced function of this device is automatic grading, manipulator feeding, statistical management, printing, network function etc. It also ensures the accuracy of division and improves the production efficiency.
