Nowadays,automatic production has an advantage in enterprises and is becoming a tendency.In these enterprises,because of the large amount of needs wheel production.the needs of automatic wheel assembly product line which include distinguish,lubrication,assembling,air inflation,initial balancing,correction,re-balancing,sorting is also created..Advanced wheel balancing machine is monopolized by foreign companies.If companies need to buy this kind of product line.they must be depend on imports.In order to break the monopoly situation caused by the production of advanced wheel balancing machine in foreign companies,the local production is no time to delay.This design progress including automatic wheel assembly product line is an unprecedented one.And it introduces the technology of balanced testing in SCHENCK.and research is based on SIEMENS' PLc and SERVO system.In this design,the production line is description detailed.And it also research the overall structure of wheel balancing machine.According to the process requirements,we design the electrical system and software flow pattern.First,this design makes a research of dynamic balance theory and wheel's parameter,a plan of each station's function,a design of electric structure and process.Second,forming a network of the whole production line according to each station's scheme and layout.Third,designing the power supply and distribution after calculating the rating.At last,improving the interface of HMI.making the whole line friendly.The design includes three parts:The first part:Make the design.This part includes:(1)researching the dynamic balance principle,the technical parameters and national standard of wheel,each process of wheel:(2)configuring the station of whole line;(3)designing the function and beat of each station;(4)formulating the flow chart of action,the electrical diagram and the communication network.(5)carrying out a feasibility test for air inflation station and balancing station.analyzing the data and drawing the conclusion.The second part:Design the hardware.This part includes:(1)designing the configuration table of solenoid vale and the sensor according to the flow chart of action:(2)making the form of digital I/O:(3)selecting the components' type of PLC and SERVO system and frequency converter.(4)designing the electrical schematic diagram of each machine.The third part:Design the software.This part includes:(1)proceeding the configuration and setting IP for each operating device and communication among each stations;(2)designing the man-machine operating interface and the definition of buttons and indicator light;(2)selecting the compiler language of programs and writing the program of each station and whole line.
