The research on how to indicate, control and test the dynamic environment about thenew space launch vehicle, satellite and spacecraft is of great importance. If the dynamicenvironment test condition provided for products is too hign, the product development cycle, weight and cost will be increased. If the requirement is too low to result in undertesting, thereliability of products will not be tested. In the aerospace antenna vibration test, due to the“infinite big machine resistance”of the vibration test shaker and the input accelerationgenerally being adjusted according to the frequency envelope of flight data, the test unit willbring about high vibration force and response in the resonance frequence. The satellite payload, such as antenna,is a carrier which transmits and receiveselectrical signals of the whole satellite. Restricted by the desigh of electricity function, thestructure of the satellite antenna usually has large size, heavy weight and complexity.Vibration test is an important way that examines its structural reliability. If the input isreasonably established in the test; and the overtesting and undertesting are avoided, thepurpose and significance of the test can be guaranteed.Establishing typical force limited test system, and analyzing of the traditionalacceleration control method and making a comparative analysis of the force limited testmethod, this paper summarizes the force limited test method and procedure; thus it providesreference for the test of the satellite products, and in the traditional vibration test, theovertesting problem of the satellite antenna which appears in the natural resonance frequencyis solved.
