As a sensitivity and reliability,heat fast response time,small volume,suitable for mass production of component,negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistor has been welcomed by electronic electric appliance industry. NTCR is usually composed of manganese,copper,cobalt,iron,nickel,zinc and other two or more family of transition metal oxide according to certain mixing ratio and prepared by ceramic technology. In these devices,Mn-Co-Ni-Cu-O series have a bigger application,so the study of this subject is of high value theory and practice.This dissertation mainly studies formulation and productive technology of Mn-Co-Ni-Cu-O series negative temperature coefficient thermistor. Focused on resistance-temperature characteristic of NTCR. Through the experimental production and testing of the resistance temperature characteristics,the comparison in different formulations is completed in the trial.In detail,firstly,the paper discussed the sintering temperature,pre-calcining and other process on the optimization of the NTC performance.Then studied the additives on the influence on the performance of the formula,thus finished the goal of resistance serialization. Finally adjusted the formula,with the non magnetic material replaced the higher price of the magnetic material cobalt and nickel,thus reduced the production cost.
