| Creating of the city visual image is a significant research area inpractice. It has become the important issue that how to find a commonvisual image between cities in the construction process of city cluster, tocarry the invisible spirit and culture on the visual image and displaytheir unique humanity style and cultural charm. This study subject isresearch on Creating the Visual Image of Changsha–Zhuzhou-Xiangtan City Cluster, which has some theoretical and practicalsignificance.This paper follows the basic principles of dialectical materialismand historical materialism, uses intangible cultural carriers, i.e. publicart, as an entry point, and combines with the "dual-type society" conceptof Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan city cluster, to make a comprehensiveanalysis of the city cluster’s visual image. According to the three citystyle, the Xiang River scenic band is defined as the city card of thecluster; by combining with the "two types" concept, the "resourceconservation" concept of the cluster is extended to the inheritance,protection and integration of the culture resources in public art; the"environmentally friendly" concept is extended to the construction ofthe spirit environment in public art; and seek to create the "emotionalmemory points" and the "edification" in public art vision for the cities,construct dynamic and static vision in public space for the cities. By themeans of this research, the overall planning for the visual image ofChangsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan city cluster is created, the concept of"dual-type society" development and city culture of Hunan is integratedinto the construction of public art by various artistic expression, whichwill become visible carrier of the overall image of the cluster, visual identification and artistic landscape of the city character, so the clusterwill be ecological and charming. Hope that this research can providesome theoretical and practical reference for the construction ofChangsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan City Cluster. |
