The recent years,wind power industry got great development. Forit’s advantages of small volume,light weight,hight torque,convenientmaintenance etc,PMSM get more and more using in wind powerindustry.Before factory,the PMSM should through rigorous factoryexperiments.Variable-frequency Experimental Power Supply Systembased on variable frequency speed regulation become the mainstream tosupply a power for those experiments.For the reasons of the inherentproblems of speed encoder, and especially,at present,in the structure ofmost MW class PMSM had no position reserved to install a speedencoder,Motor experiment stations required that they Variable-frequencyExperimental Power Supply System should realize the control strategy ofSensorless Vector Control.In order to meet market and customerrequirements.Withthe market oriented, relied on the market projiect, andbased on campany’s existing products,this topic researched on the use ofsensorless vector control in PMSM variable frequency power supplysystem.At first, the knowledges of PMSM vector control had studiedsystemly. Those knowledges include coordinate transformation principleand method, three kinds of field oriented methods and theircharacteristics,the PMSM mathematical model, the characteristics ofvarious control strategy of PMSM, kinds of decoupling method.ect. Itbring me a solid theory foundation to understand the synchronous motorvector control trategy. And the vector control simulation validation wasmade with MATLAB.Secondly,basised on PMSM vector control the speed estimation wasrealized. This is also the key of this research. Withthe customer technicalagreement and field experiment condition we can know that Frequencyconversion power supply system required little of low-speedcharacteristics.So this study will focus on the speed estimate in middleand high area of the PMSM, when the PMSM run in steady-state.Through consulting a large number of literature, this paper used a modelreference adaptive method (MRAM) to estimate speed. Current model and Back emf model were studied. And they MATLABsimulation werestudied respectively.Through the comparative analysis of the simulationresults, the method based on back emf model were adapted to used forengineering practice.Finally,The replication experiment of the research were made in theexperiment of two PMSM dragged each other. And the experimentalresult proved the validity of Research and the accuracy of speed estimatemethod.
