In recent years, along with the low carbon society, the green building and other environmental protection concept of ascension, the light steel structure housing system has already been the Ministry of Construction as a priority project to promote. Whereas, the light steel structure system have a bigger structure ductility and the natural vibration period is longer, make the resist lateral force stiffness is small and have a bigger horizontal displacement of the structure. Under the action of strong shock, the Building structure can produce larger lateral and easy to suffered serious damage, brought severe losses in people’s life and property safety. The braced frame system is a kind of double resist lateral force system, if add braced in the proper place of the structure, not only offer good resist lateral force effect to the structure and the cost also in economic.This paper focus on the concentrically braced for light steel structure of the double resist lateral force system on the seismic behavior. On the basis of previous researches, at home and abroad based on the steel frame structure of concentrically braced system present situation and choose the correct research theory and method. mainly by SAP2000finite element analysis software. Establish pure frame structure base model and take it as a prototype comparison structure, based on this, add3different forms concentrically braced, let the four structure schemes of the lateral stiffness analysis and dynamic analysis and in El-Centro wave and Taft wave and the level of the rarely met earthquake in under the action of displacement, and top of displacements angle, top acceleration, basal function and seismic response of elastic-plastic time history analysis, comprehensive analysis4kinds of light steel structure schemes, the seismic performance of the pros and cons.Whether in under small earthquakes (often met earthquake) or strong earthquakes (rarely met earthquake), concentrically braced are able to made the structure has a good seismic performance, and compared with eccentric braced, concentrically braced not only have the good control to the influence of the earthquake effect structure, and the structure of form relatively simple, the way of power transmission more clear, beam-column connection is more convenient, easy to design, in practical engineering reduce production and installation cost more easy to engineering construction, but also more suitable to the multilayer steel structure housing construction, be helpful for a weight-light steel building residential structure system spread and application.
