Research On The Modification Mechanism Of Diatomitc And Dry Mixing Of Diatomite-modified Asphalt Mixture

To improve the use of asphalt concrete pavement performance．we must improvebasic materials such as asphalt pavement performance and improve the performance ofasphalt mixture.This article takes diatomite as asphalt modifier,studies the pavementperformance of diatomite mucilage of modified asphalt by general indicators tests andSHRP tests and microscopic test；Used more substantial analysis of test results and theexisting road effect, can be illustrated by diatomite is a kind of good road materialmodifier, has better pavement properties.In this paper, we first study the diatomite,s application status and developmenttrend at home and abroad.Then introduced the material property and the main effectfactors of the diatomite.Next,through the routine test,SHRP test and microscopictest,discused the modification mechanism of asphalt mastic. Through the mixturetests,we objective the road performance of the diatomite-modified asphalt mixture,butalso for the contrast test research.Finally,this paper discussed the absorptivity ofdiatomite and study the adhesively of diatomite-modified asphalt and the ore charge.The results of the study show that diatomite can improve the high temperature、lowtemperature performance and so on; improve the stability of water mixture,it has goodpavement performance, Diatomite modifier can be used as a modifier of asphalt pavement.fromthe datas of test road,The test results are in line with the standard.And the Diatomite isValue and accessibility,the construction technology and the equipment is simple.Havepositive effects on the theory and economic.the simple measuring method of diatomitespecific surface area and adhesion study,expanded the new ideas on the research ofdiatomite modification mechanism.
