| Asphalt pavement has a good road performance and has become one of roads’main patterns in the world. Along with the increase of traffic volume, the service lifeof the ordinary asphalt pavement is gradually reducing. In order to improve roadperformance of asphalt pavement, the researchers began to study modified asphaltpavement. Through the results of test in laboratory and actual engineering, theseresults indicate that the road performance of the modified asphalt mixture is betterthan ordinary asphalt mixture, so that the study on modified asphalt has becomeresearch focus on the road. Through the analysis of literature and condition of theactual project, this paper presents PCFï¼diatomite modified asphalt mixture.In the paper, through the high temperature performance of AC-16asphalt mixture,diatomite modified asphalt mixture, PCF modified asphalt mixture, PCF-diatomitemodified asphalt mixture, the test results show that dynamic stability of diatomitemodified asphalt mixture is increased1.3times than the AC-16asphalt mixture, PCFmodified asphalt is increased1.88times than the AC-16asphalt mixture, PCF-diatomite modified asphalt is increased2.27times than the AC-16asphalt mixture.Through the determination of water stability of four kinds of asphalt mixture, the testresults show that freeze-thaw tensile strength ratio of diatomite modified asphaltmixture is increased by17%than AC-16asphalt mixture, PCF modified asphaltmixture is increased by15%than AC-16asphalt mixture, PCFï¼diatomite modifiedasphalt mixture is increased by22%than AC-16asphalt mixture. Through thedetermination of low temperature properties of four kinds of asphalt mixture by beambending test, the test results show that the splitting tensile strength of diatomitemodified asphalt is improved by10%than the AC-16asphalt mixture, PCF modifiedasphalt is increased by9%than the AC-16asphalt mixture of asphalt, PCFï¼diatomite modified asphalt mixture is increased by16%than the AC-16asphaltmixture. By the analysis of asphalt performance, asphalt mixture road performanceand gray correlation theory, the results are concluded that in the high temperatureperformance of modified asphalt evaluation, equivalent softening point T800can reflect high temperature performance of asphalt better than other indexes of modifiedasphalt, in the evaluation of low temperature performance of modified asphalt, theasphalt brittle point equivalent T1,2can reflect low temperature performance of asphaltbetter than other indexes of modified asphalt. The test results show that, the roadperformance of PCFï¼diatomite modified asphalt mixture is better than the otherthree kinds of asphalt mixture.We sincerely hope the achievements of this research can be used widely in thecomplex climate condition and heavy traffic area. |
