In cable hoisting method on large-span reinforcement concrete arch bridges, the strength of bulldog grips is considered affecting the axis elevation of the arch ribs directly and the alignment control becomes very important in cantilever erection. Since the structure belongs to a self-erected system and its rigidity forms gradually in several stages, the whole construction is complicated and takes long time. Thus, the accuracy control becomes the key for building such bridges. In this thesis, grounded on the Gongguo Bridge in Yunnan Province, the following aspects are discussed:1. Based on domestic and overseas literatures, methods in arch bridges construction are briefly introduced and the cable hoisting method is highlighted in combination with the practical applications in Gongguo Bridge;2. The project description of Gongguo Bridge and its technical characteristics and the construction plan are introduced;3. Based on the geographic position characteristics of this project, corresponding designs and calculations on the cable system are made;4. Out of the importance of the arch rib alignment control, its main factors are studied and analyzed. |
