For a mixed structure, connection among different materials properties oftendetermines the whole structural performance, the steel-concrete joints of steel trusscontinuous rigid frame bridge as one of the most important structure, which connectssuperstructure and substructure of steel truss continuous rigid frame bridge, Therationality of its design directly affect the use and safety of bridge structure, so the stressperformance and reasonable structure of steel-concrete joint is of great significance toresearch.This paper take steel truss continuous rigid frame bridge-the Wanzhou bridge inChongqing as the research background, The first analysis of the steel pipe-concretejoints on the stress in the whole bridge state on different load conditions; analysis ofsteel pipe-concrete connecting parts of the local stress and deformation; analysis of thesteel pipe-concrete connection part of the stress distribution and the transfer rule.Further combining the actual operational problems of bridge and the finite elementanalysis results, we can provide reference for this type bridge of design improvementand repair reinforcement.Research results show that steel pipe-concrete connecting parts appear the stressconcentration phenomenon and local deformation mainly by the constant load effect,temperature, shrinkage and creep effects also cannot be ignored in the whole bridgeanalysis; stress in the plate edge is larger than the rest part of the steel pipe bracket andthe pier plate connection, steel pipe bracket and the pier joints appear the stressconcentration and spread to the surrounding is not obvious, on the same time, steel pipebracket and the pier joints appear local crushing phenomenon of concrete in the localanalysis.It is efficient to decrease the transverse deformation and main tensile andcompressive stress by adding a reinforced mesh thickness of concrete structure,thickening the bearing plate, increasing the thickness of the pier beam, increasing angleplate between steel pipes. They are also helpful for the high stress level in steelpipe-concrete joints to transfer into the low stress level.
