Locomotive intellectual inspection equipment is assurance for guaranteeing safe operation of high speed heavy duty locomotive, and is the key for ensuring its overall quality and performance. The paper develops intellectual integral weighing platform for various problems of general locomotive weighing platform such as large installation and adjustment work load, bid error and hidden safety trouble.Firstly, according to features of foreign and domestic locomotive weighing equipment, it proposes structural composition, working principle and control plan of intellectual high speed heavy duty integral weighing platform with low cost, makes specific analysis and detailed design calculation on various parts of the system, and defines specifications of various parts.Secondly, it optimizes structure and performance of mechanic assemblies by various measures such as UG NX software object molding, integral assembly, integral three-dimensional virtual emulation and ANSYS finite element analysis, and ensures rationality and feasibility of integral system structure design. Designed integral weighing platform can meet integral weighing inspection of high speed heavy duty locomotive and subway and between-city locomotive with different wheel diameters, axle distances and gauges by structure optimization and performance analysis.Combination of mechanic transmission device and PLC control system with low cost replaces synchronous servo hydraulic control system with high cost, realizes synchronous ejection on wheel, and decreases cost of integral weighing platform greatly. It realizes automation and intelligence of weighing process by formation of control system and integration of various parts such as load cell, and makes formed intellectual weighing platform able to make automatic adjustment according to specific parameters of locomotive, and able to make intellectual adjustment and removal of possible error during measuring process.Intellectual integral weighing platform developed by the paper provides powerful technical guarantee for locomotive production and use units, ensures safety and performance stability of locomotive, and improves manufacturing quality and operational quality of locomotive.
