Since the reforming and opening up of our country, the consumption of energy have increased more than before, and then energy industry have developed rapidly. Also the industrial pump technology has been developing gradually.At the same time, energy shortage and environment problem are becoming serious. So people must engage in energy conservation and environmental protection, which in developing economic. The performance requirement of centrifugal pump what is widely used in industry is increasing constantly. Based on the CFD analysis, people save a lot of time and cost while they are researching and developing new productions of centrifugal pump. To some extent, it solves the energy shortage and environment problems. The application of CFD technology in industry will become a new research area in this century. The main work and achievements of paper are as follows:1. This paper introduces the current development situation of the computational fluid dynamics, the CFD numerical simulation and optimization method of centrifugal pump. And then get the best solving method and turbulence model.2. Construct a3d hydraulic model of the pump with the Pro/e which is a three dimensional modeling software. And mesh the model with Gambit.3. According to the best solving method, turbulence model, actual working condition, carry out a series of settings of Fluent and then complete the unsteady numerical simulation for CQB65-50-160F centrifugal pump. A comparative analysis of several calculation methods for centrifugal disk friction loss and volume loss was taken, and a suitable method is determined. The suitable method is used to correct the results which were got from the simulation of pump. And then obtain the performance parameters (head, shaft power, efficiency value) of various operating conditions. According to comparing with the experiment data, this paper analyses the internal flow field of pump in various operating conditions. The result shows that numerical simulation is accurate in standard condition.4. Consulted a large number of literatures what are about optimization design for centrifugal pump. And then, in conclusion, this paper gets the new optimization method which depends on pressurized water chamber as the object of study. The most important is that the objective function and constraint conditions are constructed. Then solve the objective function with genetic algorithm and Matlab, and get the new geometric parameters of pressurized water chamber. Then modify the new model and simulate for it. The result shows that the efficiency value increased by3.858%in standard condition, it is important that this paper achieves the optimization objectives and energy requirements. |
