Research On The Performance Of Rubber Powder Modified Asphalt And The Mixture

The performance of crumb rubber modified asphalt and mixtures are researched indoor and evaluated. The purpose is not only to reduce the environmental pollution and Saving resources,but also to improve the performance of the paving materials.The main research:the author analysis the special performance of crumb rubber modified asphalt; Through the indoor test, different preparation of crumb rubber modified asphalt content, analysis of rubber powder content on five indicators of asphalt; Research PE to performance of modified asphalt; By three different methods, namely Fractal Theory, Digital Image Disposal Technology and indoor Mixture Performance Test,to optimize four graded (graded A, B, C, D); In order to appraise the pavement performance of rubber asphalt mixture, selects under the best graded asphalt mixtures to carry on the test, including the basic asphalt mixture, SBS mixture, rubber asphalt mixture, through the wheel rut experiment, the freezing and thawing split test low temperature bend test, the young Liang bending gatigue experiment, appraised and has analyzed the different type blend high temperature stability, the water stability.the low temperature crack resistance and the fatigue resistance energy;To introduce the rubber asphalt road quality control points, including the selection of raw materials, transportation, paving and rolling process of the mixing.The main achievement includes:Come to the law of rubber powder dosage and PE on the performance of asphalt; D graded rubber asphalt mixture have the best pavement performance; Under the best graded, crumb rubber modified asphalt is better than basic asphalt mixture and SBS mixture on pavement performance;By three different methods, namely Fractal Theory, Digital Image Disposal Technology and indoor Mixture Performance Test,to optimize four graded, come to the conclusion is basically same.
