The actualbearing capacity of bridges is currently using dynamic and static load test to judge, themethod has the advantages of little damage, it belongs to nondestructive testing, the trafficimpact is also little. If the bridges have disease or do not satisfied the requirements ofbearing capacity,they must be reinforced or removal and reconstruct. In this paper, combinedwith the3th BiCun bridge, do the research on the old bridges and reconstruction:1, summarized the existing old bridge appearance inspection content, combined with theappearance of test results, a selected test cross for bridge static load test, determining theactual bearing capacity of bridge;2, accorded to the available for the new bridge project characteristic, considering theexisting lines, landscape and environmental factors, selection of prestressed concretecontinuous beam bridge as the new bridge, and the analysis of the bridge structurecharacteristics, and bridge structure design;3, Analysed the existing prestressed concrete continuous beam bridge disease in ourcountry, and proposed the bridge maintenance measures.China’s large number of old highway bridge need detection and evaluation, which existsserious diseases of bridge should adopt corresponding reinforcement, removal measures.
