Physical and chemical properties, temperature properties and adsorption performance of ion exchange resins and influence of temperature, flow velocity on ion exchange resins are studied. Three anion exchange resins and three cation exchange resin provided by Huaneng Shangan Power Plant are used in air cooling unit. Testing the changes of chemical properties and heat resistance of exchange resins ender the temperature of70℃、75℃、80℃after long time running. Testing different velocity influence on performance of the anion exchange resin under70℃after400h running.Testing the influence of different pH value on ion exchange resins adsorption performance.Making one anion exchange resin and one cation exchange resin iron ion poisoning and testing the reduction recovery method on poisoning resin. Summarizing the influencing factors of ion exchange resin working life,and calculating the working life of better anion and cation exchange resin. Using comprehensive evaluation model of fuzzy mathematics to select the better anion exchange resin, selected the reasonable ion exchange resin evaluation preferred method. The main conclusions are as follows. Cation exchange resin in the three temperature can satisfy the requirements of air cooling system condensate polishing equipment of ion exchange resins, the decline of the physical and chemical properties and heat resistance performance of cation exchange resins is not obvious with the temperature rising and the extension of heating time. The heat resistance performance of anion exchange resins have significantly reduced with the extension of heating time, the higher temperature, more obvious decline. When other conditions are same, ion exchange resin exchange capacity slightly increased at low velocity. Cation exchange resin adsorption effect is obvious to lead ion. Anion exchange resin adsorption effect is obvious to dimethylamine. Different pH value have obvious influence on resin adsorption effect.The deeper poisoning level of Ion exchange resin, the higher loss rate of working exchange capability. Iron poisoning have more influence on cation exchange resin than anion exchange resin. The recovery effect of restore recovery method to iron poisoning ion exchange resin is obvious. Fuzzy mathematic comprehensive evaluation model is applicable to evaluate ion exchange resins with more performance indexes.
