Power frequency parameter of transmission line mainly included the positive parameters and the zero-sequence parts. It is the foundation of the load flow calculations, setting calculation of relay protection etc. The measuring accuracy is the guarantee of grid safe and stable operation.This paper studies the all kinds of transmission line frequency parameter measurement method, analyses their advantages and disadvantages. Focus on the transmission line mathematical model of the positive sequence and zero sequence, through the strict theoretical derivation get the calculation formula of threefold-circuit transmission line base on synchronous data of both ends and online measurement, this theory can fully measured all of the zero sequence parameters including mutual inductance and capacitance coupling line. Using the simulation results verify the correctness of the theory in PSCAD/EMPT. Design the hardware of power frequency parameter online measurement of transmission line base on synchronous data of both ends. Developed software program of power frequency parameter online measurement of transmission line base on synchronous data of both ends in Visual studio2005and C#, the functions of the software including graphical modeling, data processing and calculating the Power Frequency Parameter of the transmission line in this foundation, create measurement reports etc.
