Research On Relay Protection Setting System Based On Cloud Computing

Relay protection setting is an important guarantee for normal operation of the power system, reasonable right relay protection setting value is necessary condition to the safe and stable operation of the grid, and to reduce fault equipment damage degree.The existing relay protection setting software is mostly developed for single user.which need separate maintenance and upgrades.Because the expansion of power system network, the size of the setting system is growing and the computer calculation and storage capacity become the bottleneck of restricting software development.The emergency of cloud computing rightly solved the conctradiction,to introduce which to power system to control all the host machines and servers and build its owen cloud platform,will become a trendency.This paper is relay protection setting system based on cloud computing. first introduced the concept of cloud computing and pointed out the good prospect for the application in power system, based on which, introduced the method of constructing power cloud and architecture model and its security solutions.Based on this analyzed the technical difficulties to put the application as cloud service and fined the solutions in proper sequence:for single instance multi-tenants mode.took the Role-Based Access Controle and analyzed how to build the grid model; for protection setting technical prototype can’t directly deployed to power cloud data center difficulty and reformed it:mainly are parallel block algrithm and the parallel algorithm value optimization algrithm two aspects.Finally.according to the above theory research.designed the system architecture,the developmet course,system use case analyzation and introduced the main interface functions.For the "cloud computing"technology is a leading edge technology,so there are much more to be researched,here we are only a preliminary search,a scout for later generations, for further study to the scene.
