Relay protection is the guarantee for the safe and stable operation of the power system,and it is also one of the important professional courses in electrical engineering.Microcomputer protection,as a new product of the development of relay protection,not only adapts to the practical application of modern electrical engineering,but also injects new contents for the teaching of relay protection in the new era.This article takes the classical three-phase current protection in relay protection as the main research content.Combining with cloud computing technology,a three-section current protection experimental device is designed.1.A new experimental device framework based on IoT and cloud computing is designed to absorb the virtualization technology of cloud computing.Combined with the real-time acquisition characteristics of terminal devices,a new three-phase current protection experimental device framework of “Local and Cloud” is designed.The network is a connection link,which can achieve the functions of electrical parameter acquisition,analysis,local storage,local monitoring,network transmission,cloud reception,cloud storage,cloud monitoring and analysis,etc.It truly achieves the effect of “collecting locally and calculating in the cloud”.2.A local experimental device with Raspberry Pi as the control core was developed.Using Raspberry Pi as a control center,passive filtering,current acquisition,and signal output circuits were designed;using an AC experimenter as a dynamic input to achieve real-time acquisition of current,When the current exceeds the setting value,the three-section protection will single-jump or linkage and issue a trip signal to the circuit breaker simulation device to achieve the fault removal.3.A three-section current protection cloud monitoring mechanism is built.Online settings,input selection,and remote real-time data monitoring are performed for each experimental device through the cloud server.The moment the device is operating,the cloud monitoring system could respond quickly and Feedback to experimenters.The cloud data center can also implement a series of analysis functions such as fault recurrence and failure data analysis,providing data foundation and implementation possibilities for fault analysis algorithm optimization and fault prediction.Through experimental test and verification,the device can store current,alarm,tripping and closing data collected in real time in local databases and cloud databases,and realize remote monitoring and analysis of devices through local or cloud services.The device adds new experimental content to the relay protection laboratory for electrical engineering students.
