This subject firstly analyze the current situation of Caofeidian’s grid. Based on Caofeidian future load requirements and the existing distribution of power source, a new smart switching station is proposed.35KV switching station will be built in transition period, at last it will become10KV switching station.First, we designed the main function an smart switching station should be have by analyzing existing switching station. Beside the traditional function, four functions should be designed:data integration, distributed power/solar photovoltaic access, switching station environmental monitoring and self-healing technology.Then we designed the overall structure model of smart switching station based on the functional requirements. And we completed the backbone layer of communication systems and communication access layer design by studying the communication with the distribution automation、design principles、EPON and so on. From the actual needs, we designed the whole structure of the intelligent environomint security systems which consists of central platform, front-end system, back-end system and the bearer network and gived the realization program of video surveillance, security monitoring, lighting, temperature and humidity,vibration monitoring, fire monitoring, temperature monitoring of cable.At last, a new photovoltaic power generation system was designed in the roof of smart switching station in order to meet the new energy development trend.A micro-network was set up and the PV/micro-net system electrical connection diagram was designed. Meanwhile we designed the operation control mode calculated the capacity of associated energy storage system and estimated the annual energy output of PV system. The switching station realized the information, automation, digital interactive and the initial intelligence by design.
