The virtual prototyping technology is used in this paper, a certa in typeof generator is adopted as the sample to be analyzed. Simplified researchhas been done to the main component models of the generator. And theintensity of its two shells is analyzed under the state of random vibration, asa result, the weak intensity position in designing generator shells has beenfound out,the rationality and feasibility of those modeling methods hasbeen verified, which provides a certain reference for designing generators.Firstly, the stator model of the generator model is simplified in thispaper. The first three order natural frequency is achieved after mapping thepractical stator models and doing the frequency sweep test to the statorwinding. The original stator model is established in ANSYS Design Modeler, the established model is then imported into ANSYS Workbench to do themodal analysis. Under the premise of ensuring that the quality and naturalfrequency be the same with the practical stator, the model structure isoptimized by using ANSYS Workbench and the optimized geometric sizesolution of the stator is gotten. Finally, the final simplified stator model isestablished in Pro/E.Secondly, the model of the bearing for the generator is simplified inthis paper. The preprocessing work is done after importing the model of thebearing which is well established in Pro/E to ANSYS Design Modeler. Theprocessed model is then imported to ANSYS to do static physics simulationanalysis and the stiffness of the bearing balls is gotten. The achievedstiffness is then monitored and simulation analysis is done to the simplifiedbearing, then the bearing deformation amount is achieved. This deformationamount is compared with the deformation amount that was gotten by usingHertz theory, the comparison result shows that the modeling approach isfeasible. Again, the generator rotor and electrical components are simplified, the motor model is established. In the main direction of view screenshots,do the copying screen work to the generator rotor and depict its profile inAUTOCAD and the outside size of the rotor is achieved. The threedimensional simplified rotor model is established in Pro/E according to theachieved size. Weigh the electronic components and simplify it to the pointweight which is attached to the generator electrical cover. The generalgenerator model is established in Pro/E under the constraint conditions ofthe generator. Finally, the systematic PSD analysis is done to the whole generatorsystem, the simplified models are assembled in Pro/E, and then import ed itto the ANSYS Workbench to do modal analysis. Then input the measuredrandom stimulation value and do PSD analysis in ANSYS Workbench. Thesimulation results are compared with the American simulation results, theyare almost identical.Through the PSD analysis of the generator model, it is proposed in thispaper that the simulation work is done by combining Pro/E and ANSYS tosimplify the bearing model and optimize the structure, which provides acertain reference for analyzing the bearing simulatio n in the future. Thewhole analysis result is adopted into practical use by producers, and theyagreed with this approach, which further proves the rationality andreliability of the whole plan.
