Study On Crucial Technique Of The On-orbit Geometric Calibration Of High Resolution Satellite

On-orbit geometric calibration is a crucial technique to achieve high positioning of highresolution satellite. On the base of the errs of high resolution satellite positioning, on-orbitgeometric calibration crucial techniques are researched deeply. The main achievements andinnovations are summarized as following:1. The significance and background of the research are described, the related works at homeand board are introduced.2. According to the imaging mechanism of high resolution satellite, rigorous geometricmodels of SPOT5HRS、ALOS PRISM and ZY03panchromatic camera are established. Theresults can provide a basis for self-calibration block adjustment and on-orbit geometriccalibration.3. The drawbacks of the space ground control points selected in man-made way are verytrouble and easy to be susceptible to subject factors. To solve this problem, a new way based onfeature matching algorithm to attain ground control points quickly is proposed.4. After analyzing the rules of satellite ephemeris and attitude, a simplified exterior model isestablished for the space sensor. Thinking of the strong relativity of interior and exteriororientation, an interior model with physical factor is improved for space sensor. On the base ofthe exterior and interior model, four types of self-calibration block adjustment are constructed.5. Under different conditions of ground control points, a set of experiments are made usingSPOT5HRS、ALOS PRISM and ZY03panchromatic camera datas in different geometriccalibration ways. Some valuable and significant conclusions are attained.6. A geometric calibration soft called SGC(Satellite Geometric Calibration) is developed byC++language on VC++6.0flat. Now it has been used for on-orbit geometric calibrationsubsystem of ZY03satellite.
