With the consumption of the fuel during the flight process, the centroid of the guided rocket of large fineness ratio with canard configuration will move toward the head. And the pressure centre of the rocket will move toward the tail when the rocket flies at a lower speed in post-boost phase, so that the static stability will be increased which is adverse to the maneuverability of the guided rocket. In order to solve this problem, double-canard configurations were designed during the research. A group of anti-stable wings were added to the rocket and they will eject to make the pressure centre of the rocket move forward and decrease the static stability in the post-boost phase when it is necessary so that the mobility of rocket will be increased. The close-coupling effects of the double canard configurations were investigated with the method of numerical simulation in this paper. Three kinds of canards with different shape and size were designed during the study. The influences of different shape parameters and different installation distance of the anti-stable wing on the aerodynamic characteristics of the canard were got after the simulation. The results showed that the anti-stable wing was not beneficial to the canard and decreased the normal force of the canard greatly. However, the supplement of the anti-stable wing made the whole normal force of the combination greater than the single canard which plays an active role in the adjustment of the normal force distribution of the rocket; the anti-stable wing also had negative impact on the normal force caused by the deflection of the canard. In addition, the distance of the anti-stable wing from the canard didn’t show any great influences on the aerodynamic characteristics of the canard. It was discovered by investigating of the canard rocket and double-canard rocket with numerical stimulation and wind-tunnel test that the anti-stable wing made the pressure centre of the rocket move toward the head and decreased the control efficiency of the canard. The comprehensive effect of the anti-stable wing was that it could increase the balance angle of attack and improve the maneuverability of the guided rocket.
