All the countries attache great importance to the development and utilization ofclean energy when raditional fossil energy sources reducing. Wind power technologyDevelop fastest. Thaught China’s wind power industry started late, advocate by thecountry, the wind power industry has entered a rapid development track. Installedcapacity increasedv and the capacity has also been a great breakthrough. Wind powerin the system increasing with the large-scale wind farm continuous increase. WindPower has become an important field in scientific research power.Firstly this article summarizes the development of world’s wind power briefly. Thearticle introduces the technology of wind power development in China and windpower’s technical requirements around the world.Secondly, the paper describes the principle of power generation and established amathematical model of wind speed and wind turbine briefly. This paper describes thedifferent types of wind turbine’s basic structure and model and focuses on the flowcalculation and transient calculation model of double-fed wind turbine power.Simulations are implemented based on MATLAB/Simulink.Responses of windgenerators to four kinds of wind speed are simulated and analyzed.Lastly, this paper analyzes the large-scale wind farms impact on the system mainlyfrom the voltage stability, frequency stability, active output, power quality and otheraspects, presents an indicator to measure the scale of wind power. And the paperanalyzes the impact of installed capacity of wind farms in the power system.
