| Submersible motor is a kind of special three-phase induction motor whichworks vertically. It has lathy structure, and stator and rotor adopt segmented structure. Each subsection of stator equips with magnetic isolated segment and each subsectionof rotor equips with rotor bearing. The design methods which are used for commonthree-phase induction motor are difficult to fit for the special structure’s submersiblemotor. The calculation methods of the leakage reactance in end and the leakagereactance in magnetic isolated segment of submersible motor are corrected in thepaper. The calculation formula of friction loss between rotor and lubricating oil isderived by a combination of basic theory of hydrodynamics. The eddy loss of rotorbearing is calculated and then the design method of submersible motor is improved. In order to verify the improvement of the accuracy of the design method. Wedesign of two same submersible motor prototypes. The only difference is that onesubmersible motor prototype between rotor and stator segment is equipped with amagnetic isolated segment and rotor bearing. Magnetic isolated segment formed oflaminations with copper as a non-magnetic or weakly magnetic region between statorand rotor. Another is no magnetic isolated segment. The segmentation of rotor andstator is connected with clip spring. In order to testing the magnetic isolatedsegment’s influence on the electromagnetic parameters and performance. Then wetake two prototypes for type experiment. The experimental result shows that theimproved design method is correct. So we can see magnetic isolated segment on theelectromagnetic parameters and performance in the presence of great influence. Weshould be fully considered when design it.Then according to the specific working environment and requirements we designof the submersible motor with outer diameter of the stator is107mm in order toreduce speed. At last we calculation with the motor. And then prove the calculatedparameter is satisfied with the design requirement. |
