As an internal combustion engine’s key components, it has a decisive influence on theperformance of internal combustion engine. But it is also one of the most easy to wear andtear parts.Our country lags behind in this study, some of the products still have to rely onimports.The power spinning as an advanced manufacturing technology, is considered to be oneof the most effective method to make tube type member.Its molding process can change thematerial of grain, material hardness is improved obviously. the working surface of the producthas excellent fatigue resistance and wear resistance.The object of This paper researched is the internal combustion engine connecting rodhead flanging of imported bushs. Than made the reverse process of bush,based on the analysisof the reverse engineering’s content, features and procedures. And it introduced the bush’seffect、working environment、the material requirements and structural elements, etc. Throughthe precise measurement by the three coordinate measuring machine, combined with reverseparameter reduction method,than received the structure size of bush.Also, drawing bush’s thethree-dimensional and two-dimensional model respectively, ready for the further analysis ofmanufacturing.Introduction of power spinning process, it has made the new exploration to themanufacturing process of the flanged half bush. Power spinning technology can improve themechanical properties of the bush’s material---tin bronze, but also brought the correspondingproblems. In order to meet some performance requirements (such as half perimeter higherdegrees etc.).The paper increases the bush’s inner and outer diameters to make up for the losscaused by segmentation, on the premise of the bush’s wall thickness is constant.Than pressthe bush after spinning segmentation into he mould whose inner diameter is some for theactual bush’s diameter size,make its forming and ready for other processes. Using the method of cross-sectional area, obtained the size of Inner and outer diameterand its corresponding fan angle. Using the finite element method to check calculation for eachsize.The paper’s results has the Important guiding significance to the actual production.
