In order to monitor power plant unit operation online, improve the efficiency of thermal power plant,optimize the unit operation, reduce costs. using a100MW thermal power plant and a supercritical600MW unit as the research objects, this paper put forward the online thermal calculation and thermal performance test method, and analyzed the condenser vacuum online optimization mathematical model and the optimization process.The paper firstly introduced the online thermal calculation module.The differences between the calculation of CFB boiler and traditional coal boiler was being analyzed, meanwhile a method for on-line calculation of heat effieieney on CFB boiler was put forward. The energy balance method and the least square method was combined to determine the wet steam parameters of the LP cylinder. Moreover, the paper introduced economic indicators calculation methods. After comparing the results of a100MW thermal power plant calculated by the model with those from the manufacturer, we can further verify the accuracy of the calculation model.Then it comes to the thermal performance test.After listing test conditions of CFB boiler, the method to modify the related parameters is elaborated. In the steam turbine performance test, this paper mainly focused on the second correction, namely parameter correction. Influence coefficient,which can be calculated according to the correction curve,will be used to modify the heat loss rate under running conditions to the specified conditions.In the optimal operation of circulating water pump unit module.using a supercritical600MW unit as an example,an optimization model of the cold end system under the simulation condition was investigated with the analysis of the general features of power income and expense income in a certain circulating water inlet temperature, different load and different water circulating pump operation. Otherwise, To avoid the frequency of water pump’s powering on and off, switching between high and low speed, a time recursion optimization model was put forward, which can predict the optimal operation mode a day after using the comprehensive power income and expense income the day before.Finally, the studies of the three modules was compiled into computing software based on Visual C++,connected to the real-time database.The results was shown on the output screen and saved back to the real-time database. It has been verified that this software can meet the requirements of engineering applications.
