The main subject of study is to design a circuit breaker data acquisition system. The high voltage circuit breaker is also known as the said high-voltage switch. The role of the high-voltage circuit breaker is not only the high voltage circuit in the no-load current and the load current can be cut off or closed, and when the electric power system fault occurs, so that the load current and short-circuit current is cut off by the relay protection device. The circuit breaker is characterized by the interrupter structure and adequate breaking capacity. The circuit breaker has many parts:such as contacts, conductive elements interrupter operating mechanism. Be running in the high-pressure high thermal working conditions for a long time, the various components of the circuit breaker loss is inevitable. Many incidents related accidents have happened at home and abroad. Therefore, the work status of the various component parts of the circuit breaker, the overall mechanical properties of the circuit breaker it is necessary to overhaul.Currently, in order to detect the working status of the circuit breaker, the maintenance staff is generally regular maintenance, or online monitoring methods. We designed the circuit breaker data acquisition system is the use of on-line detection method. The system uses embedded technology and sensor technology, real-time monitoring of circuit breakers work important component performance. The composition and role of the system:the Hall current sensors to measure the circuit breakers when current transformer secondary circuit current protection circuit and the measurement of sub-gate closing coil current; these signal collected after conditioning after the circuit into the high-speed, high-precision multi-channel AD analog-to-digital converter chip, to convert the digital signal that current data. Core board read through the SPI communication protocol the AD chip data communication. The circuit breaker current status got by the data acquisition board can also be by wireless transmission to a wireless terminal, the operator can be obtained from the terminal display about the circuit breaker.
