| Reticulated shell is a kind of space structure widely used in recent architectural engineer-ing, relying on its elegant and artistic sculpt,it is heavily used in large public buildings, such as gymnasium, exhibition hall, venue and so on. But as a result of reticulated shell’s large span, reticulated shell is usually flexible and the damping ratio relatively low. so it’s sensitive to earthquake and wind load action. Under the action of strong seismic action and wind load, reticulated shell usually emerge greater vibration, consequently, influencing the normal use of the structure and property security of the people. Therefore, the seismic control of reticulated shell is extremely important for the personal and property security. Intelligent control technology has been the pivotal frontier in domestic and overseas vibration control research field for its better damping effect and flexibility in control target selection.In order to realize the characteristics of reticulated shell at a deeper level, this text firstly accomplish the design of a single layer Schwedler reticulated shell. In the research of reticulated shell, combine the characteristics of piezoelectric ceramic damper and friction damper, the author design a new piezoelectric friction dampers, and analyze the mechanical property and controlled system model. Afterwards, using the damper to simulate the friction type, limit-type and viscous-type damper, then study the damping effect of a single degree of freedom structure. The SDOF structure gets better damping effect. Finally, in the process of the numerical analysis for reticulated shell shaking table test, comprehensive analyzed the impact parameters, such as damping stiffness, damping coefficient, damping bar position, and so on, determining the decorate position of damping bars are all ribbed bars of the first frequency and all slant bars of the second, third frequency. Using this damping bars layout form to analysis the damping effect of the reticulated shell.Analytically, under the action of El Centro seismic wave, the x-direction displacement, velocity, acceleration damping effect of the reticulated shell is51.75%,61.93%and73.20%, the y-direction displacement, velocity, acceleration damping effect of the reticulated shell is also higher50%. The structure also has better damping under the action of Taft and Northridge seismic waves. And the displacement response of uncontrolled reticulated shell emerge drift phenomenon, the displacement response return to the normal situation after the damping bars are put on the structure. In general, the displacement, velocity and acceleration of the controlled reticulated shell node obtain better damping effect. |
