| With the acceleration of urbanization, the sharp increase of motorization and the influence of increasing density of road network, correlation among intersections has become increasingly evident, and it causes conspicuous traffic problems, for example, traffic jam, traffic accident, environmental pollution etc. For solving those problems, coordinated control of main road may be an effective action in traffic management and control. The dissertation with the non-optimized modeling idea includes the following chapters:Firstly, literature reviews about phase scheme design, signal timing design and transition method of coordinated control plan in main road raise the non-optimized modeling idea.Phase scheme design is the first step of signal control. Taking three-leg intersection and intersection as research objects, it proposes the formation conditions of green wave and analyzes the autocorrelated phase scheme and cross-correlated phase scheme. Phase scheme design method that facilitates the generation of ideal two-way green wave is proposed based on two-axis time space diagram. Sample result indicates the proposed design method of phase scheme is simple and practical.Signal timing design in the coordinated control of main road studies of adjusting the phase green time in the non-critical intersection based on phase scheme design method, then calculating offset and two-way green wave width. Statement from three-leg intersection and intersection and sample explain the specific process. The last section presents the definition and necessity of transition in main road coordinated control signal plan. A new transition method is proposed for active phases against the disadvantages of previous transition method, and samples between Shortway and new transition method indicate that evaluation results of new transition method are better. |
